Unfortunately, the club executive has reluctantly had to cancel the TIP Runs previously provisionally scheduled for October 16.
The September 10 announcement from club president Brian Gartley:
In late July, we were hopeful that we’d be able to hold the 2021 TIP this year. This week, we’ve taken a hard look at the current covid restrictions, location, facility and the support we’d have available and we’ve concluded that we simply cannot host an event that would be safe for participants.
As a result, with heavy hearts, but ever mindful of our responsibility for the health and safety of all participants and volunteers, the difficult decision has been made to cancel TIP for 2021.
Let’s all look forward to a positive race season in 2022 and come back to the starting line refreshed, recharged and ready to run! Meantime, keep training and stay healthy and safe.
