Heartiest congrats to Janet Wynands on receiving the Brockville Hyundai Coaching Award at the Kinsmen Awards Night held June 12 at the Brockville Memorial Centre.
Janet has been a dedicated longtime track coach with the Brockville Legion Track and Field club, helping many young track athletes to achieve their potential and going on to successful track careers at high school, university and other elite levels in many cases.
Of course Janet is well known to the Brockville Road Runners as a dedicated, longtime club supporter. Janet has been a club run participant, a club executive member and notably race director since 2008 of our 3 race Freeze Your Buns series.
The club acknowledged Janet’s contribution by presenting her in 2020 with the President’s Award
