TIP Half Marathon and 5K Races
The 33rd edition of the Mark Darroch Half Marathon and the James K. Carlyle 5K

Location
Rockport Recreation Hall 115 Escott Rockport Road, Mallorytown. This is approximately 35km west of Brockville.
The start line at the Rockport Recreation Hall takes you east on a paved trail along the Thousand Islands Parkway with views of the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Parking: There is free parking available at the Recreation Hall.
Washrooms: Available at the Recreation Hall.
The Races
The 21.1K half marathon will start at 08:00 followed by the 5K at 09:15.
Registration: Not yet open
Fees:
5km: $25, non-members $30
Half marathon:
Full: $35, non-members $40
Relay: $50 (2 person team)
Note: Runners must be at least 16 years old to compete in the half marathon.

The Course
Both out and back courses are certified as to total distance, with marshals at the turnarounds. There will be kilometer markers at every kilometer.
Four water tables will be provided giving the 5km racers 2 passes and the half marathoners 8 passes respectively at a water station.
Awards
A trophy will be presented to the first overall man and woman.
Medals will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in age groups as follows:
Half marathon: 16 to 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
5k: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Half relay, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Refreshments and snacks will be provided at the end of the race. There will also be a few draw prizes.
